Springvalley Gardens in sepia

These photos were taken in a small side street in Morningside, Edinburgh.  I used this tutorial roughly to make the sepia effect.   I love the old Wild West look but it is a shame that it is looking so run down now.  I found this blog which tells a bit of the history behind it.

Pesky moth larva

I put this little moth case on my window sill to get a better look at it, lo and behold it moved so I grabbed my camera and took this digital macro shot as the moth larva poked his head out.  Now I know they are pests but it is kind of cute.  It is around 6 or 7mm long.

You can tell it is Harvest time.
These windows have just recently
been reworked and are looking amazing.

Open Doors Day at Duddingston House

No this isn't a photograph of some branches but it
is actually the wallpaper in the box room - fabulous!
